The Schools co‑operative SocietyThe Schools Co-operative Society co-ordinates a network of educational organisations and provides advice and support to its members. It gives a voice to the rapidly growing co-operative sector within the UK educational system.

This is the first conference for Co-operative Schools across the Midlands region.
This conference arose out of the South West Schools Co-operative Society full regional conference, which was held on 12th March. This developed further some of the ideas covered. These included how to embed co-operative values, information about commissioning and opportunities for procurement of services.
The conference has been themed to meet the needs of three separate groups: primary teachers, secondary teachers and heads/business managers. The programme (available here) includes many opportunities to network and support each other as we move to become co-operative schools.

South West SCS Regional ConferenceVenue: Dartington Hall - Totnes

The was launch of the SW region of SCS. It was aimed at current members of SCS and those schools who were interested in starting to consult about Co-operative School status.
