The Schools Co-operative Society co-ordinates a network of educational organisations and provides advice and support to its members. It gives a voice to the rapidly growing co-operative sector within the UK educational system.

Our members

We are a secondary co-operative. This means that our members are Co-operative Schools and other educational co-operatives.

If you are an individual and want to support the work of the society we do keep a register of individuals who want to contribute to our work. If you are interested please contact our administration department.

We have a wide variety of schools that are part of SCS. These include:-

  • infant schools
  • junior schools
  • secondary schools
  • primary schools
  • special schools
  • middle schools

There is also a variety of different types

  • single sex schools
  • faith schools
  • selective schools
  • community schools.
  • clusters of schools

Whatever their type schools are united by one set of internationally agreed values.
